ABOUT AUSTIN PEAY

The Governors are coming off a 74-59 win against Albany, Monday, in the Ocean Bracket semifinals. Austin Peay used a 13-0 run in a 3:48 span late in the second half to pull away. Austin Peay, which has won three-straight games, improved to 3-0 all-time against current members of the America East. The Governors snapped a three-game skid in neutral site contests and have won their last two tilts inside the Ocean Center. Elijah Hutchins-Everett, who led five players in double figures, was two points shy of his career-high after finishing with 23 against the Great Danes on 7-of-11 shooting inside the arc and a perfect 9-of-9 clip from the free throw line in the second half. Nineteen of his 23 came after halftime. Hutchins-Everett narrowly missed a double-double performance after pulling down nine rebounds. Caleb Stone-Carrawell tallied 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting and a 6-of-9 effort from the stripe. Carlos Paez finished with 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting and a 4-of-4 mark from the line. Jalen Ware, who made his first career start, and Cameron Copeland each scored 10 points. Ware netted career-highs in points (10) and field goals made (4) and tied a career-high in field goal attempts (6) to go along with six boards. Copeland shot 5-of-6 in the paint. In the final 20 minutes, Austin Peay shot 94.7 percent (18-of-19) from the free throw line and 50 percent (12-of-24) from the floor. The Governors shot 49 percent (24-of-49) overall and 85.2 percent (23-of-27) from the charity stripe. The 23 made free throws are second most during the James era. Austin Peay was 10-of-15 on layups. The Governors turned 15 Great Dane turnovers into 17 points.

Tuesday is the last of three games for Austin Peay in the Greenlight Sunshine Slam, presented by Discount Tire, and second of the tournament in the Ocean Center. The Governors won at South Florida, 62-60, on Nov. 17, and defeated Albany, 74-59, on Monday in the Ocean Bracket semifinals.

Shon Robinson was named the ASUN Conference Newcomer of the Week on Monday. He became the school's first player to garner the honor with the Governors playing their first season in the league. Against the Buffaloes, he tallied career-highs in points (27), field goals made (10), field goal attempts (16), free throws made (7), free throw attempts (13), and steals (6). ABOUT BUCKNELL

The Bison are coming off a 66-65 win over Presbyterian, Monday, in the Ocean Bracket semifinals. Andre Screen recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds and hit the go-ahead free throw with 5.9 seconds left. Bucknell never trailed in the game and led by as many as 15 points in the first half, but Presbyterian made a run late in the first half, and the game was played within a two-possession margin for most of the second half. The Blue Hose finally tied the game for the first time on a shot-clock-beating 3-pointer with 39 seconds remaining. The Bison ran down most of the clock before Xander Rice had a jumper rim out. Screen grabbed the offensive rebound and was fouled going back up, and he split the two charity tosses with 5.9 seconds left. Rice matched Screen with 17 points. Ian Motta added eight, and Ruot Bijiek finished with seven points and three rebounds.
