CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Austin Peay State University women's basketball March 1 game against Central Arkansas has been canceled due to the Sugar Bears not meeting the minimum requirement of student-athletes to field a team. The ASUN Conference will award Austin Peay with a conference victory, but the Governors' overall win-loss record is not affected.
Austin Peay will now celebrate its final game in the Winfield Dunn Center, "The Last Waltz," in its 3 p.m., Saturday contest against Lipscomb before turning its attention to the ASUN Conference Women's Basketball Championship, March 4-11.
