CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – With both teams splitting a pair of games over the week, the Austin Peay Athletics Department and Five Star Radio Group present the weekly Austin Peay Coaches Show with head men's basketball coach Corey Gipson and head women's basketball coach Brittany Young at 6 p.m., Tuesday, at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Gipson and Young join host Brian Rives to recap a pair of wins. They also will be joined by student-athletes Tekao Carpenter and Abby Cater.

The men's basketball team earned a 97-90 overtime win against Eastern Kentucky, Thursday. The game was highlighted by Tate McCubbin's 38-point performance. The freshman guard/forward also tied the program record with nine three-pointers. Carpenter followed McCubbin with 21 points, with all of his points coming off his seven three-pointers. 

The women's team also earned an overtime win against Eastern Kentucky, Thursday, coming in a 59-57 victory in Richmond, Kentucky. 

Sa'Mya Wyatt had a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double against the Colonels. Abby Cater also had an eight-point, nine-rebound, 10-assist performance in the win. 

Presented weekly for the remainder of basketball season, the Austin Peay Coaches Show features head basketball coaches Corey Gipson and Brittany Young and various assistant coaches and student-athletes. Fans can join Gipson, Young, and Rives every Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings, which returns for its sixth season as the host location of the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
