CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a 28-point win on Homecoming and with the 2025 Wild Card Game Thursday afternoon, the Austin Peay Athletics Department and Five Star Radio Group present the weekly Austin Peay Football Coaches Show with head coach Jeff Faris at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Skyline 500 on the top floor of Shelby's Trio in downtown Clarksville.
Faris joins host Kyle King to recap the Governors 56-28 victory against North Alabama at Fortera Stadium, while also looking ahead to a 7:30 p.m. (CT), Saturday kickoff against Southern Utah in Cedar City Utah.
Wide receiver Shemar Kirk and defensive back Rishi Rattan also will join Faris and King on this week's Austin Peay Coaches Show.
Kirk had his career's best performance against UNA, with the redshirt senior receiver catching three passes for three touchdowns and 132 yards. Rattan picked up his season first interception in the win against the Lions.
Fanning and the baseball team will cap off their fall with the fourth-annual Wild Card Game, Thursday. Gates to the free event open at 4:30 p.m., with a home run derby at 5:45 p.m. and a five-inning scrimmage at 6:15 p.m. It will offer free pizza and beer – while supplies last – and an electric atmosphere with Austin Peay's band, cheer teams, and other athletic programs in attendance.
Presented weekly the Austin Peay Coaches Show features head football coach Jeff Faris and various assistant coaches and student-athletes throughout the football season. Fans can join Faris and host Kyle King every Wednesday at Skyline 500 at Shelby's Trio, which is in its first season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches Show.
The Austin Peay Coaches Show is broadcast live from Skyline 500, airs live on ESPN Clarksville (104.1 FM and 540 AM), and is simulcast online.
If you miss the live airing of the Austin Peay Coaches Show on Wednesday, it will be re-aired on Saturday at 4 p.m. leading into the Governors Sports Network's pregame show, which begins an hour before kickoff.
