Austin, Russell to Compete in AVCA Beach National Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Austin Peay State University's beach volleyball pairing of Grace Austin and Isabella Russell will compete in the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association Beach National Championship, Nov. 7-9, at the John Hunt Sand Volleyball Courts in Huntsville, Alabama.

Austin and Russell are one of just 64 pairs across the country competing for the title. It also marks the first time an APSU duo has earned a spot to the AVCA's event since Tristin Smith and Chloee McDaniel in 2022 during the event's inaugural season.

Austin and Russell are just one of six Atlantic Sun Conference pairings participating in the AVCA Beach National Championship, and are joined by athletes from North Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Stetson, and North Alabama.

A full tournament bracket, along with seeding and scheduling will be announced next week.
