CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University's women's tennis team earned one doubles win three singles wins against Chattanooga, and three singles wins against WKU on the second day of the APSU Fall Tournament, Friday, at the Governors Tennis Courts.
In doubles play, Luca Bohlen and Elena Thiel defeated Rufaro Magarira and Addison Iacono, in a 6-3. In singles play, Sophia Baranov defeated Savannah Presson, 8-1, Luca Bohlen defeated Addison Iacono, 8-7 (5), and Clemence Butavand defeated Zara Burns, 8-7 (5). Against Western Kentucky, Bohlen, Butavand, and Pauline Bruns defeated their opponents in two matches each.
The third day of the APSU Fall Tournament was canceled due to weather. The Governors will continue their fall season on the road at the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout in Statesboro, GA.
