NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University's men's tennis team fell to Lipscomb 6-1, Saturday, at the Ensworth Tennis Center.
Logan Tomovski took his match to a 11-point tiebreak with Alex Vlahos, winning the second set 7-6, (7-4) and winning 11-9 in the third. Rohan Loubser fell to Facundo Perlov in three sets, taking the third set to the tiebreak, but falling in the set, 10-8. Lucas Ranciaro fell to Oskar Szymczak in three sets. Vincent Lu lost his match to Filippo Verdese in two sets, Felipe De La Hormaza and Bodi van Galen also dropping their matches in straight sets.
In doubles, Lu and De La Hormaza fell to Verdese and Henrique Ushizima 6-4, and Ranciaro and van Galen fell to Szymczak and Oliver Thoeny 6-2. Loubser and Tomovski's match was left unflished at 5-5.
Up next, the Governors face the Oakland City Raiders Friday, February 6th.
