MASON, Ohio – Austin Peay State University women's tennis concluded its stay at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals, with the Governors totaling five wins at the event.

The Governors fell in a trio of doubles matches on their final day of the event, with all three losses coming to top 10 teams in the main draw doubles round of 32. Cocomi Saito and Hayley Garber dropped a narrow, 8-6, decision to No. 9 Reese Frank and Kathryn Wilson from Purdue, while Elena Thiel and katie Oliver fell to No. 4 Mia Yamakita and Erin Pearce from Vanderbilt. Yi-Ching Huang and Sati Aubakirova also fell to Kentucky's Asuncion Jadue and Norina Bak Szabo.

Up next, the Governors head to the Bluegrass State for the two-day, Battle of the Border against Murray State, Friday-Saturday, at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts in Murray, Kentucky.
