United Athletic Conference Announces First Men's Basketball Schedule

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The United Athletic Conference announced its first men's basketball schedule on Wednesday. Austin Peay State University's men's basketball team will play 16 league contests with eight games at home and eight on the road.

The Governors tip off their UAC home schedule against former Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday, Jan. 6. The team will then hit the road to face North Alabama on Saturday, Jan. 9, and UT Arlington (Jan. 13).

Returning to the friendly confines of F&M Bank Arena, Austin Peay will host Tarleton State on Saturday, Jan. 16, followed by a matchup against Central Arkansas (Jan. 20). The Governors will then travel to Abilene Christian for a game on Wednesday, Jan. 27, before a rematch at Tarleton State (Jan. 30).

February brings more home action at the vault as the Governors face Little Rock on Wednesday, Feb. 3, and UT Arlington (Feb. 6). The home stretch concludes with a clash against Abilene Christian (Feb. 10). The team then travels to West Georgia on Saturday, Feb. 13, before visiting Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 17).

The Governors will wrap up their home schedule with games against West Georgia on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and North Alabama (Feb. 27), before concluding the regular season with road games at Little Rock (March 3) and Central Arkansas (March 6).
