CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University head baseball coach Roland Fanning announced the addition of infield coordinator/recruiting Brandon Lees to the Governors' baseball staff.

Brandon Lees comes to Clarksville after spending the last three seasons at Cowley County Community College as an assistant coach.

In his first two seasons in Arkansas City, Kansas, Cowley County posted back-to-back 40-win seasons, going 43-18 in 2024 and 45-12 in 2025. Despite not posting a 40-win season in year three, Lees saw the Tigers to a respectable 37-23 season. Each season, the Tigers advanced to the NJCAA Division I Plains District Tournament, where Lees led the program to an 8-6 record over three years.

Lees began his coaching career at Inspiration Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he was an infield coordinator, before serving as the infield coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas Rich Mountain.

Before his time at Cowley County, Lees finished his playing career with his last season at Arizona Christian in 2023. Before that, he spent two seasons at Northern Oklahoma Enid, where he was a career .304 hitter, slugging .520 with an on-base percentage of .436. He began his collegiate career at Washington State in 2019, when he redshirted.

A native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Lees earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Arizona Christian in 2023.
