CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University women's golf will tee it up for the first time in the 2026-27 season when the Govs travel to Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Sept. 6-8, for the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Fish & Golf Club.

Caledonia will play at a par-71, 6,004 yards this week. Austin Peay tees off beginning at 7:30 a.m. (ET), Sunday, paired with student-athletes from UNC-Wilmington, Central Arkansas and Arkansas State.

In Austin Peay's last appearance at the Golfweek Challenge, Erica Scutt put together the best 54-hole tournament in program history, shooting a 204 (64-66-74) in her first career individual victory. The Govs earned a fourth-place team finish in their last visit to Pawleys Island, kicking off a run of three-straight top-five showings to begin the 2022-23 season.

Austin Peay will roll out a veteran lineup in its eighth season-opener under head coach Jessica Combs. Senior Jillian Breedlove will tee off in the No. 1 role for the Govs this week, followed by sophomore Ella Arnzen, sophomore Jordin Cowing, senior Abby Hirtzel and junior Abby Jimenez.
