Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a sophomore in 2023:

• Made her lone appearance of the season in penalty kicks against Kennesaw State in the first round of the ASUN Conference Women’s Soccer Championship, Oct. 26.

As a freshman in 2022:

• Earned seven starts across her 12 appearances.
• Finished fourth among freshmen with 613 minutes and the distance six times.
• Made her collegiate debut in a 17-minute outing at Evansville, Aug. 21.
• Earned her first-career start in a 90-minute outing at UT Matin, Aug. 31.
• Tallied her first-career shot and shot on goal against Belmont, Sept. 8.

Career Recap: Bishop Watterson HS
Prepped at Bishop Watterson High School where she recorded seven goals and 15 assists during her four-year career… helped lead the Eagles to four-straight district finals appearances with district titles and regional finals appearance during her freshman, junior, and seniors seasons… helped Bishop Watterson capture the region title and advance to the Ohio High School Athletic Association Final Four during her freshman campaign… was a Second Team All-League selection during her sophomore and juniors seasons… also played club soccer for the Ohio Premier of the ECNL and was the Top Drawer Soccer Weekly Standout on March 23, 2021.  

Personal
Madelyn Mary Bellisari is the daughter of Greg and Mary Bellisari… has three siblings: Emilt, Drew, and Aubrey… her father, Greg, played football at Ohio State, 1993-96, before spending the 1997-98 National Football League season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers…her uncle, Steve Bellisari, played football at Ohio State, 1998-2001, and then spent the 2002-03 NFL season with the St. Louis Rams and her aunt, Amy Bellisari, played softball at Florida Atlantic, 2001-04, leading her squad to a 208-20 record, four conference titles, four NCAA Tournament appearances, and a No. 1 seed in the 2002 NCAA Regionals – she is now the associate head softball coach at Delaware… a kinesiology major with a concentration in exercise science
