2024 (Junior)

• Started all 28 matches, appearing in 99 sets.
• Paced the Govs with 260 kills with an average of 2.63 per set.
• Had 10-or-more kills in nine matches, with a career-high 19 against West Georgia, Oct. 5, and at North Alabama, Nov. 8.
• Had 147 digs for 1.48 per set.
• Totaled 47 blocks, with a career-high six against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 1.

2023 (Sophomore)

• Appeared in 70 sets over 27 matches.  
• Had 125 kills on the season, averaging 1.79 per set. 
• Career-high of 13 kills against SEMO, Sept. 16. 
• Had 23 total blocks with a career-high of five against Lipscomb, Sept. 27. 

2022 (Freshman)

• Saw action in 63 sets over 23 matches in her first season.
• Finished the season with 68 kills (1.08 kills per set), 38 digs, and 17 blocks.
• Began the season with starts in six of the Govs’ first seven matches, recording 19 kills in those matches.
• Set her season-high of eight kills at Stetson (Oct. 7).
• Posted three seven-kill outings in a four-match stretch: against Central Arkansas (Oct. 22), at Liberty (Oct. 28), and against Kennesaw State (Nov. 4).
• Also had a season-best three blocks against Kennesaw State.

Prep Career

• Prepped at Jackson Academy under head coach Melissa Denson.
• Helped lead to the Lady Raiders to three-straight Midsouth Association Independent Schools (MAIS) Division 1 Volleyball Championships.
• A vital member of a Lady Raiders’ team that did not drop a set during their 2021 title run, posting a perfect, 14-0 record in district play. That same year, Jackson Academy captured the second-most wins in program history with 38.
• Played club ball with Infinity Volleyball Academy under former APSU head volleyball coach, Jenny Hazelwood.
• Helped lead IVBA to a third-place finish in the Gold Open at the 2021 AAU nationals.

• Sarah Gail Carnathan is the daughter of Pam and Don Carnathan.
• Birthday is July 28.
