As a junior transfer in 2009 – Lewellyn batted .221 with one home run and four RBI in 43 games played… made 25 starts during the season, splitting time at second and third base… began season at third base before switching positions with second baseman Zach Gerler… returned as starting second baseman following Morehead State series… batted just .170 in first stint as a starter from season opener until March 13… was 2-for-5 in Lamar series finale, Feb. 22… had season’s first three-hit performance at Mississippi, March 10, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases… played sporadically over season’s next 21 games with 12 appearances and 16 at-bats… went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in SIU Edwardsville series finale, April 5… moved back into second base starting role beginning against Western Kentucky, April 14… batted .257 in season’s final 18 games after returning to starting role… was 2-for-4 with a stolen bases against Vanderbilt, April 21… defensively, did not commit an error in season’s final 37 chances spanning final 10 games.
