Biography
2007: 2007: Beck started 18 of 19 games played... led team in points (26), goals (12), shots on goal (35) and scored game-winning goals Sept. 21 vs. Lipscomb and Oct. 1 vs. Alabama A&M... set a single-season record with 26 points... her 12 goals were a regular-season league best, ranking in the top-three all-time in six different offensive categories ... ended her junior season with second-team All-OVC recognition and the 2007-08 APSU Women’s Soccer MVP... Aug. 31 vs. Evansville, scored the lone goal in the season opener, Lady Govs lost, 2-1... Sept. 14 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Beck scored once and assisted on two other goals in a 6-0 shutout... Sept. 23 vs. Winthrop, Beck led a second-half rally with two game-tying goals en route to a 3-2 come-from-behind win... in fact, Beck scored in four straight games from Sept. 21 ? Oct. 1; the Lady Govs went 3-1 during that stretch... Sept. 28 at Tennessee Tech, Beck scored the Lady Govs only goal as they lost their league opener... suffered season-long offensive drought Oct. 12 ? Oct. 19 going without a goal or assist in three games... bounced back to score a goal in each of her last four contests... scored the Lady Govs only goal in losses to Samford and Morehead State, as well as in a tie with Eastern Kentucky.
2006: As a sophomore, Beck was one of three players (Adonia Bivins and Erica Dengler) to start all 19 games...despite battling against double-teams most of the year, she was named second-team All-OVC for the second time... for the second-straight year, she led the Lady Govs in scoring with seven goals and three assists for 17 points... Beck led the team in points (17), shots (71), goals (7) and game-winning goals (2)...she was third among conference players in points and game-winning goals, second in shots and fifth in goals... her 71 shots are a single-season record, the most since Bivins’ fired 61 shots in 2003... Beck averaged 3.74 shots per game... 8/25 vs. Evansville, she got off to a great start, scoring a goal and recorded an assist in the season’s first match...9/1 at East Tennesseee, she continued to have the hot hand, scoring one goal on five shots as the Lady Govs won, 3-2... 9/12 vs. Lipscomb, she posted her season’s first game-winner, heading in a cross from Erica Dengler in the 27th minute leading the Lady Govs to a 1-0 victory...9/17 vs Chattanooga, Beck went off for a pair of goals on 10 shots in a 3-1 Lady Govs win....10/6 vs Southeast Missouri, Beck came up big in overtime, taking a Redhawk turnover and drilling it into the upper 90 for the game-winner... Austin Peay was 5-1 when Beck scored a goal.
2005: As a freshman, she played in 16 games, starting 13... She was named to the All-OVC second team and All-Newcomer team... She scored seven goals during the season... 9/11 vs. Belmont, she scored the only goal in a Lady Govs 1-0 win... 9/25 vs. UT Martin, she found the back of the net in the 89th minute to take the game into overtime... 10/16 vs. Eastern Kentucky, she scored the only two goals in a 2-1 win... Beck led the Lady Govs in points (14), goals (7), and game-winning goals (3)... She also ranked fourth in goals, points per game, and goals per game in the OVC.
High School: Beck led Rossview to three consecutive District 10 titles as well as two straight Region 5 second-place finishes... Beck posted 61 goals and added 33 assists in her high school career... She was named All-Area Player of the year and All-State in 2003... She was tabbed the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player and the district Most Valuable Offensive Player in both 2002 and 2003.
