As a junior in 2009 - Baggett batted .239 with five home
runs and 20 RBI... played in 48 games but started just 28 contests, the majority
in right field where he split time with Jared DeLong throughout the season...
batted .242 in OVC action with five stolen bases... suffered hot and cold streaks throughout the
season... was 3-for-9 in season-opening
series at Lamar despite coming off the bench in series' first two games... hit
game-winning three-run home run at Tennessee, Feb. 24... had an interesting outing against Indiana
State, March 4, with two RBI and only one official at-bat as he was walked
once, hit by a pitch and recorded two sacrifice flies... went-2-for-3 with three
RBI against Iowa, March 8... had a hit in three of four games against Milwaukee
before suffering a six-game hitless streak... had a hit in just five of next 22
appearances, but had consecutive two-hit outings against Western Kentucky,
April 14, and Memphis, April 15, during that stretch... ended drought with a four-game
hit streak, April 28-May 2... closed season with three hits in final six at-bats
against Murray State, going 2-for-3 with two RBI in season's penultimate game.
As a sophomore in 2008 – Baggett batted .288 with 14 RBI and recorded 13 walks in 80 plate appearances... batted .275 in OVC play with nine RBI in 31 games, including 19 starts – 14 in left field... became regular starter, April 13, and made 14 consecutive starts... had six consecutive hits to begin that stretch of starts, going 3-for-3 in series finale against Samford, April 13, and getting three straight hits against Belmont, April 15, before flying out in the sixth inning to stop the streak... had two doubles and two RBI in that contest at Belmont... those two contests also were part of a season-best four-game hit streak... notched first collegiate home run with grand slam against Tennessee Martin, May 3, his only hit of the contest... finished UTM series with 1-for-3, 2 RBI effort... made season’s final start, May 16, in second game of Murray State series, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.
As a freshman in 2007 – Baggett played in 20 games, used primarily as a pinch hitter/pinch runner... recorded his season’s first hit at Furman, March 17, a pinch-hit single to right field... slapped a pinch-hit RBI-double in the Govs second game at Jacksonville State, March 24... finished the season 4-for-11 with one double and three RBI... came on in defensive role in Govs rout of Memphis at Nashville Regional.

Under head coach Todd Dunn, his senior season he hit .456 with 10 doubles, eight home runs and eight stolen bases... he ranked among the top-20 in batting average, and top 10 in home runs... he was named to The Leaf-Chronicle All-Area baseball team three times... in his junior season he batted .500 with a .716 on-base percentage, a 1.105 slugging percentage, 12 home runs and 34 RBI... played in the TBCA 2005 Showcase and hit a home run to lead his team to victory.
