As a sophomore in 2010 - Dobbs made 15 appearances, making four starts and compiling a 1-0 record and an 8.33 ERA... season got off to rough start as he allowed nine runs in first 8.1 innings... posted a scoreless outing at Mississippi, March 9, and another scoreless inning his next outing at Charlotte, March 12... threw 1.2 innings against Jacksonville State, April 17, allowing one hit and striking out two... started against Vanderbilt, April 27, going six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, while striking out five... posted a solid relief outing at Tennessee Tech, May 8, going 2.1 innings, giving up one run after allowing three hits in that span... gave up one run over 1.2 innings against Belmont, April 20, despite giving up no hits and striking out two.

As a freshman in 2009 - Dobbs made 16 appearances, including seven starts, compiling a 3-3 record and 7.65 ERA... made two OVC appearances surrendering a 10.50 ERA... began season with three strikeouts and one earned run allowed in an inning pitched at Lamar, Feb. 21... did not allow a run in next three appearances, including 1.2 scoreless innings at Tennessee, Feb. 24... made season's first start against Iowa, March 8, allowing four runs over 2.1 innings... after two more relief appearances, his next five appearances were starts... suffered losses in first two of those five consecutive starts, losing to Evansville and Middle Tennessee... recorded season's first victory with nine-strikeout performance against Lipscomb, allowing just two runs over 6.2 innings, April 9... recorded season's second victory in next trip out against Western Kentucky, April 14, allowing two runs over four innings... lost in season's final start at Middle Tennessee, April 29, allowing five runs on six walks and five hits over 2.1 innings... did not allow a run in season's final two appearances - both in relief - encompassing 5.2 innings... picked up win at Lipscomb, May 12, striking out three in three innings... closed season with two strikeouts in 2.2 innings at Murray State, May 16.

Played under head coach Gary Bartlett as a pitcher and outfielder for the Panthers... in his first three seasons, recorded 104 strikeouts and allowed eight earned runs on 26 hits with 24 walks in 63.7 innings... drafted in the 30th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles... named the 2008 Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association Region 2 Player of the Year... named to the 2008 KHSBCA first-team all-state... named to all-district and all-region teams in 2007 and 2008.
