As a junior transfer in 2010 - Davis made 18 appearances, including eight starts, compiling a 4-2 record and 7.16 ERA... allowed two runs in his first five innings, highlighted by a three-inning appearance against Illinois State, Feb. 29, where he gave up one run and had three strikeouts... pitched two quality innings at Vanderbilt, allowing two hits on one run, February 23... picked up his seasons first win after throwing 1.1 scoreless innings against SIU-Edwardsville, March 7, striking out one and allowing one hit... season's second win and longest outing came at Memphis, April 6, where he threw seven innings of three-run baseball, leading the Govs to a 14-7 victory... picked up season's third win in the second game of a double-header at Evansville, May 11, where he went five innings and allowed one run to lead the Govs to an 11-2 win and a split of the doubleheader... earned his fourth win in season's last start against UT Martin, May 22, where he went five innings giving up one run and striking three.

Played under head coach Tony Etnier, finished sophomore campaign with 2-2 record, one save and 5.35 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 35.1 innings... started his freshman campaign as a closer for Rend Lake College but ended the season with a start in the Region XXIV championship game... finished that first season with a 2-4 record, 7.61 ERA and 25 strikeouts over 36.2 innings pitched.... prepped at Pontiac Township (Ill.) HS where he played football and baseball.
