As a freshman in 2010 - Hogan was named to the All-OVC Freshman squad as an infielder... batted .328 with 12 doubles, two home runs, and 30 RBI as a freshman... started in 49 games for the Govs, all of them coming at first base... began to become a main stay in the fifth spot of the line up, making 29 starts... pieced together the teams second-best hit streak of the season, with a 10-game hitting streak dating from April 27, to May 16... had four multi-hit performances during the streak, including a three-hitter at South East Missouri State, May 15... also had a seven-game hit streak earlier in the season, starting at Eastern Illinois, April 2 and finishing up at Eastern Kentucky April 11.. earned nine multi-RBI games over the season, high-lighted by a 4-for-4 four RBI performance in the opening game of OVC play against Murray State, March 27th... had a team best eight two-RBI games... Hogan ended season with a 14-game reached-base streak, which is currently active and will resume at the start of the 2011 season... had a second 4-for-4 performance, this time coming against Belmont on April 28, where he had two doubles, two-RBI, and three runs... lead the Govs in OVC play with an impressive .403 average... also had a 1.000 fielding percentage in OVC play... was tied in the team lead in multi-hit games with 19.

Under head coach Steve Bieser, batted .472 as a senior with a .580 on-base percentage, 12 doubles, six home runs and 45 RBI... had 20 walks and six strikeouts in 114 plate appearances... was a second-team All-Metro selection by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch... led the Griffins to the St. Louis Metro Catholic Conference title as a junior batted .429 as a junior with 22 RBI and 12 doubles while compiling a .495 on-base percentage... left Vianney HS as program's all-time leader in hits, RBI, walks and doubles... played on Rawlings Prospects travel squad after junior season and posted a .437 batting average in 119 at-bats with 29 RBI, including 13 doubles among his 52 hits and recorded 19 walks against seven strikeouts.
