As a junior in 2010-11: Played in 33 of 34 games, missing the Purdue game because of injury...joined fellow newcomer TyShwan Edmondson as only Govs to average double-figures in scoring...in averaging 11 ppg, scored double figures 18 times...totalled a trio of 20-point games...tied for team lead with 60 steals, leading team in that category 14 times...led Govs in scoring six times and paced rebounders on three occasions...displayed immediate impact in season opener...scored game-high 18 points at St. Louis, including 7-9 FGs and a perfect 4-4 FTs....got hand on ball that forced game-ending turnover...named OVC co-Newcomer of the Week after St. Louis game, along with TyShwan Edmondson...followed that up with 17-point, seven-rebound effort at Chattanooga, along with a team-best three steals...recorded third-straight double-digit scoring performance at Lipscomb...also made it third straight game with at least two steals...struggled with hip issue against Southern Illinois, scoring just four points...held out of Purdue contest with hip issue...still displayed lingering effects of hip problem against Charleston Southern, scoring just two points in 14 minutes off bench...again came off bench against Oakland, scoring four points...tallied seven points in Govs' OVC road win at SEMO...connected on just 1-8 FG against Eastern Illinois, but played key defensive role against EIU's Tyler Laser in Govs' comeback...reached double-figure scoring for first time in nearly three weeks by scoring 10 points on 5-10 shooting in second Lipscomb contest...led Govs defense with a career-best 5 steals at Memphis, but managed only 2-10 FGs for six points...broke through with 22 points on efficient 8-10 FG shooting against EKU...also had three steals and limited EKU's Justin Stommes to only six points....scored go-ahead reverse layup in overtime win against Morehead State...finished with 17 points and three rebounds...made it three straight double-figure scoring effort with 19 points against Brescia while also pulling down six rebounds...connected on 7-9 FGs for 16 points against Chattanooga while pulling down seven rebounds...scored 11 points at Murray State and drew a flagrant foul late in game to halt a Racer run...posted career-high 27 points and grabbed then career-high eight rebounds at UT Martin...scored 25 in second half to spark comeback...it was the most points in a half by a Governor since Drake Reed had scored 23 in first half against Murray State, Feb. 7, 2009...missed double figures for first time in six games with nine points at TSU...his six rebounds led Govs for second straight games...played 40 minutes against Tennessee Tech, but again scored only nine points...returned to double-digits with 16 points against JSU, while also grabbing five offensive rebounds...scored 14 points at EKU, including 6-6 FTs, and dished out a career-high 6 assists....netted just two points at Morehead State...bounced back to score 17 points against Murray State, but did not shoot a free throw for the third-straight game...scored 12 points on 5-12 shooting vs Eastern Illinois after being shutout at Fairfield...wrapped up regular season by scoring 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting and grabbed 9 rebounds against Southeast Missouri...also added two steals...in OVC quarterfinals, scored 11 points versus SEMO...also limited SEMO leading scorer Marland Smith to only five points...struggled shooting vs. Morehead State in OVC tourney semifinal game, scoring six points on 2-12 FGs...wrapped up season by recording first double-double with 23 points on 10-21 FG shooting to go with 10 rebounds....
In junior college: Played for legendary Gene Bess at Three Rivers...as sophomore, named to the National Junior College Athletic Association all-tournament team, helping lead the Raiders to a second-place finish, losing to Howard (Texas) College in overtime...averaged 14.3 ppg and 7.7 rpg during national tourney...overall was Raiders' second-leading scorer, averaging 13.0 points per game while shooting better than 45 percent from the floor and nearly 75 percent at the free-throw line...also averaged 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and team-best 2.0 steals per game...as freshman,.averaged 8.9 points 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game as a freshman.
In high school: Played guard for Phil Gibson and Mark Starns at Henderson County High School...as a prep senior in 2007-08, Terry averaged more than 25 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game...three-time all-district and all-region selection...as senior, named Region 2 Player of the Year over University Heights star Scotty Hopson, former Tennessee star.
