Long, lean frontcourt prospect hopes to pick up where he left off in 2012-13...owns myriad of basketball skills...still seeking consistency and strength needed at college level...a former 6-3 all-state prep guard has grown close to four inches since he was a high school sophomore...owns both post-up and face-up capabilities, with strong perimeter ability...could be one of Govs' best spot up shooters ...extremely athletic performer...expected to provide depth along Govs frontline, in particular at two forward spots.

In 2012-13 as freshman: Appeared in 25 games as freshman...large majority of his minutes came in final half of OVC season...showed flashes of ability in season's first half, scoring seven points against Oakland City and eight points at Illinois State...scored in 10 of his final 11 appearances...tallied seven points in 11 minutes at SIU Edwardsville...connected on his first five three pointers before finally missing against SEMO in final OVC week...also had season-best 4 rebounds in that contest...closed season with career's first double-figure performance, tallying 10 points on 3-of-4 floor and 4-of-4 free-throw shooting against UT Martin...played sparingly in Govs' first two Canadian exhibition contests before displaying his skills in final game...scored 11 points, including a three pointer...also owned Govs' best dunk of exhibition tour.

High School: Guard, forward and center for Justin Taylor at West Limestone High School...helped to lead team in senior year to Area-15 Championship and runners-up in NorthWest Region...chosen first-team Class 4A All-State after averaging 15.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game...shot impressive 59 percent from the floor while blocking 3.2 shots per outing...was a second-team Class 3A All-State selection as junior and sophomore...averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks as junior... named Limestone County All-Tournament Team and Decatur Daily 4A-6A All-Area First Team...earned All-Area (2010-12) and All-Region (2010-12) along with Huntsville Time Elite Third Team.
