PREP CAREER
Under head coach Clarance Johnson, helped lead Mallard Creek High School to the North Carolina Class 4A Final Four where they lost to the eventual state champion in the semifinal round… was named to the I-Meck All-Conference team after averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds in a senior season shortened due to rehabilitation from a knee injury… She received a scouts grade of 83 and was ranked 70th at her position nationally by ESPN’s HoopGurlz.com.

Somalia Iman McKenney is the daughter of Monica and Samual McKenney… born March 10… has an older sister Samonica… mother played basketball at St. Augustine College in Raleigh, N.C.
