2007: Michels played in 15 games and started 10... one of two junior college transfers (Elyse Lovelace) to see significant playing time... scored three goals, fired 22 shots with nine on goal... Sept. 14 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, scored her first career goal off a turnover in the 40th minute... Oct. 12 vs. Murray State, she scored on a penalty kick after a foul in the box... Oct. 30 vs. North Alabama, opened the Lady Govs scoring with a goal in the 43rd minute.
High School: Joins the Lady Govs as Butler Community College’s all-time assists leader (38) and single-season assists leader (21)... led the Butler Grizzlies to a 18-1-1 overall record and a 16th-national ranking... won the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference championship in her freshman season... named her team’s “Most Valuable Player”, first-team All-Jayhawk Conference and first-team All-Region VI in her freshman season... her 14 goals and 17 assists ranked 27th in the nation... in her sophomore season, she was named team captain... led the Grizzlies to a second conference championship and again was named first-team all-conference and first all-region... she posted 18 goals and 21 assists, ranking 16th in the nation.
