Biography

2006: As a junior, played in 17 games, starting three... had a goal and seven shots on goal for the season... Sept. 17, vs. Chattanooga, season’s only goal was the game-winner.

2005: She played in all 19 games as a sophomore, starting five... finished season with three goals and 10 shots all season... Sept. 6 vs. Texas Southern, she fired off 10 shots with six on goal, scoring three goals in the victory... Sept. 25 vs. UT Martin, Hosse assisted Heather Miller in overtime for a 2-1 win... Hosse ranked sixth in points (7) for the season.

2004: Hosse played in 17 games, starting twice while making a name for herself as the Lady Govs’ most dangerous bench scorer... she led the team in points (15) and goals (7)... she was second best in shot percentage (.350) and sixth best in shots (20), shots on goal (11) and shots on goal percentage (.550)... also had two game-winners... Sept. 4 at Southeastern Louisiana, she came off the bench in the second period, scoring her first career goal and followed that with the game-winner seven minutes into overtime... Sept. 5 at Mississippi Valley State, she made one of her two starts, and picked up an assist on an Erica Dengler game-winner... Sept. 21 vs. Lambuth, she again came off the bench to fire four shots, placing two on goal and scoring in the 33rd minute... Oct. 8 at Spalding, Hosse came off the bench to post another multiple-goal outing, scoring her first in the 41st minute followed by another in the 57th minute as the Lady Govs picked up a 4-0 win... Oct. 24 at Murray State, she picked up her season’s second game winner at an ideal time propelling the Lady Govs past their Ohio Valley Conference rival... Oct. 28 vs. Trevecca, she made her season’s second start, finding the back of the net courtesy of her sister Stephanie Hosse, for her season’s seventh goal.

High School: Jessica Hosse teamed up with twin sister, Stephanie, a midfielder at Blackman High School... She holds the school record for goals, averaging 16 per season... Named to all-district, All-Rutherford County and All-Daily News Journal teams... Along with her sister, led the Lady Blaze to a District 7AAA championship and state quarterfinals berth.

Personal: The daughter of Steve and Tina Hosse... born Dec. 19, 1985... nursing major.
