As a junior transfer in 2007 ?  Kemph played in 52 games, starting 35 (17 in center field, 10 in right field and 8 in left field)... batted .258 in 128 at-bats with two home runs, 17 RBI, four doubles and one triple... had five stolen bases, including one in the OVC Championship game against Jacksonville State, May 26... put together a season-best five game hit streak from March 17 at Furman to March 24 at Jacksonville State... had five multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games... went 3-for-3 with three singles at Memphis, April 17... had a hit in each game of the OVC tournament...  started the season’s final eight games in left field... had three hits in NCAA Nashville Regional... went 2-for-5 with 3 RBI against Memphis while batting in the six hole... was 1-for-3 in tournament finale against Vanderbilt.

Career Recap: Cleveland State CC
Under head coach Mike Policastro, batted .277 with 15 of his 61 hits going for extra bases, including six home runs... was the lead-off man for Cleveland State, where he scored 43 runs and knocked in 29 RBI... he finished the season with an 11-game hit streak... started 56 games in center field where he committed only two errors in 122 chances for a .984 fielding percentage.

Joshua John Kemph is the son of Jim and Kathi Kemph... born Feb. 1, 1985... majoring in business marketing... played prep baseball at Father Ryan High School.
