As a junior transfer in 2014 – Pitched 12 innings in eight appearances, including three starts… Finished the season with a 5.25 ERA… Made first appearance against Southern Illinois, Feb. 18, going 1.1 scoreless innings, striking out one… Tossed season-long three innings with two strikeouts against Evansville, March 26… Both of his losses came in games the Govs were shutout: starting and allowing two runs over 2.2 innings in 3-0 loss at Indiana State, April 2, then coming out of bullpen and allowing three unearned runs in 3-0 loss at Southern Illinois, April 16.

Compiled a 17-6 record in two seasons at Lamar… Made 16 appearances, including 11 starts, during sophomore season, finishing with a 7-4 record and 4.55 ERA with 65 strikeouts in 65.1 innings pitched… As a freshman was a second-team All-Region IX selection after helping lead Runnin’ Lopes to Region IX title… Led team with 10 wins, compiling a 10-2 record and 3.47 ERA with 65 strikeouts in 80.1 innings pitched… Was a second-team academic all-conference selection… Played under head coach Scott Crampton.
