Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a junior transfer in 2014 – Pitched 23 innings in 29 relief appearances… Side-arm specialist had 15 strikeouts and one save… Battled inconsistency in season’s first 10 appearances (16.71 ERA and 14 walks in seven innings)…Got 10-day reprieve in late March and regained form after break… In final 19 appearances totalling 16 innings, surrendered just nine earned runs (5.06 ERA) and walked only seven batters… Had two strikeouts in one inning of work against UT Martin (May 10)… Picked up season’s only win with 1.1 scoreless innings of relief at Lipscomb, May 13… Followed that outing by earning his first collegiate save in one scoreless inning at SIUE, May 15.

As a sophomore, posted 3-1 record with two saves in 13 appearances, finishing with 3.42 ERA and 16 strike outs in 26.1 innings pitched at Walters State… Did not allow an earned run in 15 appearances totaling 23.0 innings as a freshman, striking out 23.
Career Recap: Spring Hill HS
Compiled a career 23-5 record, 1.10 ERA and 12 saves in four seasons… Was an All-State selection in 2010 and an All-Region selection in 2009 and 2010… prepped under head coach Paul Lamm, a former Governor player.
