As a junior in 2007 ? Hill played in 60 games, starting 42 in center field... batted .305 with 10 doubles, one triple, one home run and 16 RBI... was second on the team with a .403 on-base percentage, ranked second with 14 stolen bases... played solid defense with only two errors in 118 chances in center field for a .983 fielding percentage... named second-team All-OVC as an outfielder and also was named to the OVC all-tournament team... led the Govs hitting .420 in OVC play with a .481 on-base percentage... emerged as the Govs primary center-fielder after going 4-for-5 and scoring three runs against Southeast Missouri, April 22... after that weekend, Hill started the next 22 games in center field and hit .338 over that stretch... returned to his hometown of Martin, Tenn., to go 7-for-13 with two doubles from the nine-hole against UT Martin, April 28 and 29... had two five-game hit streaks ? the first from April 28 to May 5 ? and the second May 8 to May 13... hit his first career home run against Eastern Kentucky, May 19, to lead off the third inning... was 3-for-12 in NCAA’s Nashville Regional... went 1-for-3 against Memphis... finished tournament stay with 2-for-4 performance against Vanderbilt which included two doubles.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2006 ? Hill competed in 33 games, making six starts as an outfielder, other 27 appearances came as the Govs primary pinch runner... was 6-for-8 in stolen base attempts, while scoring 13 runs on the season... against Memphis, March 28 and 29, went 2-for-7, walking twice, scoring four times, with two RBI.
As a sophomore redshirt in 2005 ? Hill was awarded a redshirt.
As a freshman in 2004 ? Hill saw limited action, mostly as a pinch runner, appearing in 20 games... was successful in each of his three stolen base attempts... During the fall he was a running back for head coach Carroll McCray and the Govs football team... started season slowly due to an ankle injury... finished season with 466 yards rushing, averaging 5.2 yards per carry... scored five touchdowns... posted season-best totals against Davidson with 174 yards rushing on nine carries, scoring two touchdowns, including game-clinching 80-yard score.
