As a junior transfer in 2009 – Browett batted .303 with four home runs and 31 RBI… was one of two players (Greg Bachman the other) to play and start all 52 games, playing left field… batted .304 in OVC play with 14 RBI and team-high 13 runs scored… after quiet start to season – 3-for-22 in first seven games – broke out with 4-for-4, three-RBI performance against Indiana State that fell a home run shy of the cycle… was first game of four-game hit streak during which he batted .588 (10-of-17) to raise average from .136 to .333… went 3-for-5 in Eastern Kentucky series opener, March 21, followed by 3-for-4 outing at Vanderbilt, March 24… hit season’s first home run – an inside-the-park shot – at Jacksonville State, March 29… posted four consecutive multi-hit outings April 1-5 with three hits against Middle Tennessee, and two hits in each game of three-game series against SIU Edwardsville… hit three-run home run against Tennessee Tech, April 18… went 3-for-5 in Southeast Missouri series opener, April 25, and had a hit in each game of the three-game series… went 4-for-9 with four-RBI and two home runs in doubleheader against Tennessee Martin, May 2, beginning a season-best six-game hit streak… batted .375 during the hit streak to keep average above .300 in season’s final weeks.
