2013-14: Played in 27 games in his first Govs season, starting 26…averaged 9.9 points per game but 11.1 points per game during league play…shot 50.1 percent (90 for 178) from the field and a team-leading 42.4 percent (25 for 59)—46.7 percent during the OVC play—from beyond the arc… averaged 16.1 points per game over final nine games, including eight straight double-figure games…overall had 13 games sin double figures, with three games of 20 or more points… led the Govs in rebounding in three OVC games against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 13), Morehead State (Feb. 19), and Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 22)… led the team in scoring in five different games….had 17 points in season opener against Oakland City and 11 more against Memphis but only three double-figure games in the 2013 portion of the schedule…struggled finding scoring rhythm in OVC season’s first half before breaking loose with 19 points and seven rebounds against Murray State (Jan. 31)…followed that up with 20 points, going 6-of-8 from the floor, against Tennessee State (Feb. 6)… after scoring 16 against Belmont (Feb. 8) tallied season-high 24 points and 11 rebounds—his season’s only double-double--against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 13…after scoring 14 points (SIUE, Feb. 15), 15 (Morehead State, Feb. 19) and 13 (Eastern Kentucky, Feb. 22), completed double-digit scoring run with 20 at Southeast Missouri (Feb. 27).

Junior College: Playing in the Jayhawk League, averaged 15.1 points. 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game as a sophomore in his only season at Cloud, located in Concordia, Kan...chosen second-team all-league...averaged 13.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg as a freshman at Clinton Junior College (Rock Hill, S.C.)...

High School: Played his prep basketball for Anthony Dickens at Northwood High School in Silver Spring, Md...as senior, slashing his way inside, he averaged 20 points per game and was selected All-Metro Montgomery County....selected team MVP.  

Personal: Health and human performance major with health concentration...son of Edward and Sharon Dyson...comes from family of ministers...board April 9, 1992...age 21.
