Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2016:

• Played in all 35 matches (126 of 127 sets), making 34 starts during the season.
• Became a defensive force in season’s second half, finishing second only to libero Ginny Gerig in digs in season’s final 17 matches. Ebright posted 208 digs (3.25 per set) in the second half while also scoring 22 blocks (0.34 per set) and chipping in a team-best 22 service aces (0.34 per set).
• Provided season-best 22 digs in Govs four-set contest against Murray State, Nov. 2.
• Notched season’s lone double-double at Middle Tennessee, Oct. 19, finishing with 10 kills, 11 digs and two service aces in five-set contest.
• Tormented Eastern Illinois with season-best five service aces in a three-set affair, Oct. 7, while also chipping in six digs and three kills.
• Nearly had a double-double in five-set contest against Saint Louis, Sept. 13, posting nine kills and 11 digs along with two aces and a block.
• Half of her season’s 54 blocks came in a nine-match span, Sept. 3-17, which saw her average 0.82 blocks per set, including a season-best six-block effort against Kent State, Sept.1 0.

As a junior in 2015:

• Played in all 32 matches (119 sets), starting 15 contests.
• Recorded 123 kills (1.03 per set) and 315 digs (2.65 per set) during campaign.
• Had three double-doubles during the season.
• Notched two of her three double-digit kill performances in season’s final two weeks. Posted a career-high tying 16 kills against UT Martin, Nov. 7. Finished season with 15-kill, .424-attack percentage effort against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 14.
• Set career-best with 23 digs in four set match at Southeast Missouri, Sept. 26.
• Notched three service aces in back-to-back matches: Sept. 4 vs. Savannah State and Sept. 1 against Evansville.

As a sophomore in 2014:

• Played in 31 matches (106 sets)
• Totaled five double-doubles
• Racked up a total of 219 kills
• Credited with 16 kills against UT Martin, Sept. 26
• Finished with 10 kills and 20 digs against Southeast Missouri, Sept. 27
• Posted season-best six blocks at Eastern Illinois, Oct. 11

As a redshirt freshman in 2013:

• Ebright was named to OVC All-Newcomer squad, first Lady Govs player named to the team since 2011
• Played in all 35 matches (127 sets played)
• Finished first campaign with 251 kills (1.98 per set), including 129 kills (2.05 per set) in OVC play
• Named to Memphis All-Tournament team, recording 30 kills (2.72 per set), 24 digs and 7 blocks in three matches
• Posted season-best 15-kill effort against Murray State, Oct. 1, registering a .375 attack percentage
• Second time she saw Murray State, Nov. 12, had 12 kills and season-best five blocks
• Had errorless attack outing (8 kills, 17 attempts) against SIUE, Oct. 25

As a freshman redshirt in 2012:

• Ebright did not play and received a redshirt.

Career Recap: Orrville HS
Under head coach Ron Lehman, Ebright was a right-side hitter and recorded 279 kills, a .279 attack percentage and 539 digs during her career at Big Walnut High School… as a senior, she recorded 179 kills and 157 digs and was named first-team all-state by the Ohio Volleyball Coaches Association… was the Ohio Capital Conference’s “Player of the Year” and first-team selection as well as District Player of the Year… also was selected to the Under Armour Girls’ High School All-America volleyball athlete watch list for the 2011-12 season.

Samantha Nichole Ebright is the daughter of Shelley and Rob Ebright… born Sept. 25… has two brothers, Jacob and Brandt… Majoring in education (K-6) with minor in professional education.
