Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a senior in 2018:

• Appeared in 16 of the 17 matches for the Govs, primarily on the wing.
• Recorded the assist to Claire Larose’s game-tying score in the OVC opener against Belmont (Sept. 14).
• Played a season-high 74 minutes against Little Rock (Aug. 31).

As a junior in 2017:

• Made two appearances for the Govs in her junior campaign.
• Had minutes in two nonconference matches, one against LSU and the other against Mississippi Valley State.

As a sophomore in 2016:

• Appeared in 14 matches with one start (vs. Eastern Kentucky).
• Attempted three shots on the season, with all three being on goal.
• Played season-high 33 minutes against Alabama A&M, Sept. 11.

As a freshman in 2015:

• Played in 10 games (4 starts) as a freshman.
• Provided back line depth in first season at APSU.
• Compiled 332 minutes of action on the pitch.

Prior to Austin Peay: Defensive player for Mayfield Secondary School alongside fellow Gov Jennifer Smith... two-time Award of Excellence in Healthy Active Living... was also member of swim team at Mayfield... captain of girls Bolton Wanders club team for the past five years... team went undefeated at 2014 Umbro Showcase... named Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.

Personal: Daughter of Paul and Angela Bateman...has one brother, Adam, who plays in the Canadian Hockey League... born Jun. 22... majoring in nursing.
