2015-16 (Junior Season)

  • Appeared in 16 games with one start.
  • Finished season with 30 points on 11-of-35 shooting.
  • Connected on two three-pointers and went 6-of-13 from the free throw line.
  • Also credited with 22 rebounds and five assists.

2014-15 (Sophomore Season)

  • Played in 18 games and averaged 3.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
  • Wrapped up season with 10 points and season-best five rebounds against SIUE in opening round of OVC Women’s Basketball Championship, March 4.
  • Scored 11 points, all inside the arc, in regular-season finale at Southeast Missouri, Feb. 28.
  • Posted a season-best 16 points with a career-high four three-pointers against UT Martin, Feb. 4.
  • Provided crucial minutes off bench at Memphis, Dec. 2, scoring seven points and grabbing three rebounds.
  • Opened season with a band, scoring 12 points against Wright State, Nov. 14.

2013-14 (Freshman Season)

  • Saw action in 19 games, starting three contests, and averaged 4.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
  • Had 13 points and career-best four assists at Wichita State, Dec. 21, in opening game of Wichita State Holiday Classic.
  • Led APSU’s bench effort with seven points at Louisville, Dec. 14, while also recording season-best three assists.
  • One of two bench players (Banks the other) to lead Austin Peay with 17 points against Trevecca, Nov. 18.
  • Scored 16 points in her debut at Western Kentucky, Nov. 9, the best freshman debut since the 1999-00 season.

Career Recap: Bishop Gorman HS

  • Prepped under head coach Sheryl Krmpotich, a former Lady Govs assistant coach (1992-96).
  • Named to second-team all-state squad by Las Vegas Review-Journal following senior season.
  • Averaging 15.8 points, 1.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game in that senior campaign, leading Gaels to Division I State Championship Game.
  • Made 55 three-pointers and converted 48 percent of her total field goals.

  • A criminal justice major with an emphasis in homeland security and a minor in photography.
  • Born March 22, April Rivers is the daughter of Davida Hooper, step-father Choice Hooper and Terry Rivers and she has three siblings: brother Joshua and sisters Brittney and Nivea.
