Biography
As a junior in 2015-16: Contributions came sporadically, but answered the call down the stretch and during the OVC Tournament... Came off bench to score 7 points in opener at Vandy... On of four Govs in double figures wiht 14 points off the pine at Indiana... Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against Cal Poly... Efficient outing off the bench, scoring 11 points in 14 minutes against Northern Colorado... Broke out of a slump with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting against Westminster... Caught fire in a hurry against Jacksonville State, needing only eight minutes to score nine points... In most extended OVC appearance, scored 10 points in 17 minutes at TSU, hitting 4-of-4 from the line and adding four rebounds... His 18-minute appearance in the OVC Tournament opening round against TTU was his longest since November; he scored 7 points... Hit double figures for the first time since January with an 11-point outburst, including a career-high three three-pointers, in the OVC Championship game against UT Martin... After not playing during nine of the final 11 regular-season contests, averaged 15.3 mpg and 7.8 ppg on 58.8 percent (10-of-17) shooting during four OVC Tournament contests... knocked down a three and consistently got to the line against Kansas in the NCAA Tournament, scoring 13 points and adding a team-high three assists.
At Owens CC: Earned National Junior College Athletics Association third-team All-American honors after a second straight superb season…team's leading scorer averaged 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game as a sophomore…for a second straight finished second in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Year voting…earned first-team OCCAC and All-Region XII honors for the 25-7 Express…reached double figures in all but three games and scored a season-high 34 points against Jackson in game he finished 12-of-13 from the field and seven-for-seven from three-point range….scored 20 or more points in 12 games in 2014-15…shot 48 percent from the floor, including 34 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free-throw line…as freshman in 2013-14 averaged 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game overall…during league play, fell just short of scoring title, averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game…during season reached double figures in scoring in 28 of 31 games...tallied at least 20 points in 10 games, while achieving season-high of 30 in team's district semifinal win against Sinclair...scored 20 or more points in 7 of 12 league games…in two-year career, averaged 17.6 points, scoring 1,107 points, while averaging 5.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game…displayed penchant for getting to free-throw line—he left as the program’s all-time leader in free throws made (274) and free throws attempted (371), a 74 percent free-throw percentage for team that finished 53-13 over those seasons…was six-time conference player of the week selection in addition to being chosen all-conference and all-region both seasons…in summer of 2014, invited to and participated in the All-American Elite 80 JUCO Showcase in Augusta, Georgia.
High School: Transferred to TAAG Academy (Tampa, Fla.) as senior after playing first three prep seasons at North Central (Indianapolis, Ind.)…averaged 26 points 4.0 assists per game in one season at TAAG.
