Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a redshirt senior in 2020

  • Appeared in 10 games and started twice at both second base and as the designated hitter.
  • Went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored in first start against Evansville, Feb. 23.
  • Appeared late in season finale against Western Illinois, March 11, and had a hit and RBI in lone at-bat.

As a junior in 2019

  • Played in 22 games, starting three times, and led Govs with 20 at-bats off the bench.
  • Hit a RBI double off the bench at Eastern Illinois, May 11,.
  • Had an RBI groundout in Govs six-run seventh inning against Lipscomb, March 5.
  • Walked in only plate appearance and scored the go-ahead run in the 10th inning of the Govs upset of No. 1 Vanderbilt, Feb. 27.
  • Had base hits in back-to-back games off the bench, going 1-for-1 at Western Kentucky and 1-for-2 at Middle Tennessee.

As a sophomore in 2018

  • Appeared in 34 games during the season, including 10 starts as an infielder.
  • Led all Governors with six hits off the bench, batting .333 in reserve role.
  • Started four consecutive games at third base, April 28-May 4, during Garrett Kueber's absence and was 4-for-17 at the plate.
  • Went 2-for-5 with a double in a start against Western Kentucky, May 1, which was second multi-hit outing and supplied first extra-base hit of the year.
  • Went 2-for-2 with RBI off the bench in Southeast Missouri series finale, March 31.
  • Starting designated hitter against Murray State, March 18, and was 2-for-4 with two RBI, his two-run single kicking off the eight-run third inning in the win.

As a redshirt freshman in 2017

  • Saw action in 44 contests, including 21 starts. Started games at third base, shortstop, second base and left field.
  • Finished campaign batting .304 with six doubles, a home run and 12 RBI.
  • Twice supplied all of Austin Peay’s runs in a contest. Went 3-for-5 with three RBI at Lipscomb, May 16, including a game-winning RBI single in the 11th inning. Also had three RBI in a 2-for-3 outing at Southeast Missouri, March 31.
  • Had a triple in back-to-back at-bats at Eastern Illinois, May 18. Notched pinch-hit triple in ninth inning of series opener. Followed that with second-inning triple in day’s second game, eventually going 2-for-5 with two runs scored in that contest.
  • Had four-hit outing against Lipscomb, May 10, going 4-for-5 with a double, and was 7-for-10 in the two midweek games against the Bisons.
  • Season’s only home run came against Middle Tennessee, Feb. 28, a two-run home run after he entered the game defensively.
  • Pressed into left field start against Mercer, March 5, going 1-for-2 with a double and a walk.

As a freshman redshirt in 2016

  • Did not see action during the season.

Career Recap: Mifflin County HS

  • Was a first-team All-Mid Penn Conference Commonwealth Division selection as a senior after batting .363 with a .511 on-base percentage, leading the Huskies to the Pennsylvania District 6-AAAA semifinals
  • Batted .360 as a junior with a .534 on-base percentage, posting just five strikeouts in 35 plate appearances as he played in 18 of 21 games
  • Prepped under head coach Bernie Howard.
