As a senior in 2017

• Made first appearance as a Governor March 22 against Arkansas State. Faced just one batter before leaving game due to injury.

As a redshirt junior in 2016

• Missed second consecutive season as he continued rehabilitation from upper body injury.

As a junior redshirt in 2015

• Did not play during the 2015 season while recovering an injury

Career Recap: Kansas State
As a sophomore in 2014

• Finished season with 1-1 record and 6.85 ERA, recording 10 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched (12 appearances).
• Started three contests, posting a 1-1 record and 3.38 ERA in those outings.
• Threw five shutout innings, allowing six hits, against Cal State Bakersfield, April 22.

As a freshman in 2013

• Was a member of 2013 Big 12 regular-season championship team.
• Did not post a decision in nine outings but had a 3.68 ERA.
• Lone start of freshman campaign came in Big 12 Championship Game against Oklahoma, May 25, allowing three runs on three hits.

• Jordan Tyler Witcig is the son of Tim and Wendy Witcig.
• Born June 29.
• Prepped at Staley High School.
• Has two brothers, Joshua and Jonah.
• Received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a concentration in homeland security and a minor in global security studies.
• Working towards master's degree in business management.
