As a senior in 2019

• Suffered injury prior to the start of the season and did not play.

As a junior in 2019

• Appeared in 34 games, and split his 23 starts between first base (9), left field (7) and right field (3) with four starts at designated hitter.
• Finished season batting .286 with three home runs and 11 RBI, with bulk of work coming in the season’s second half which saw him bat .306 (15-of-49) with two home runs and nine RBI.
• Hit a three-run home run as part of a 3-for-6, six RBI outing in Govs’ April 21 victory at UT Martin.
• Went 3-for-4 with two RBI, including season’s second home run, April 9 against Evansville.
• Hit season’s first home run against Kentucky, Feb. 16.

As a sophomore in 2018

• Appeared in 40 games, starting 32 contests primarily as a first baseman and right fielder.
• Finished season batting .255 with two home runs and 23 RBI.
• Pieced together second three-RBI outing of the season against Southeast Missouri, March 30, which included a two-run single.
• Opened season with reaching base safely in 15 consecutive games, the streak ending against Middle Tennessee, March 13.
• Posted three RBI at Vanderbilt, Feb. 27, with a double and a home run as part of a 2-for-4 day.
• Had a 4-for-5 outing against Toledo, Feb. 23, which included a home run and two RBI.

As a freshman in 2017

• Saw action in 16 games, entering each time as a pinch hitter with three games played at first base.
• Notched first collegiate hit in final pinch-hit appearance with RBI single against SIUE, May 7.
• Season’s first RBI came courtesy a RBI fielder’s choice at UT Martin, April 28, which also saw him score a run.
• Recorded just four strikeouts in his 16 plate appearances with two walks and a sacrifice bunt.

Career Recap: IMG Academy

• Batted .231 with 10 RBI in 23 games as part of IMG’s Black Team, coached by MLB alumnus Chris Sabo, finishing senior season with .339 on-base percentage and was named to academy’s Gold Glove Team.
• Played on IMG Academy’s Blue Team as a junior, batting .274 with 12 RBI, posting a .361 on-base percentage.
• Played summer baseball with the Florida Surge Select, coached by George Sands, batted .414 during the summer and was named to 2016 WWBA All-Tournament team after batting .421 during the tournament.

• Andrew Jeffrey Flaherty is the son of Jeff and Terry Flaherty.
• Born March 11.
• Has an older sister, Tiffany.
• A biology major with a minor in chemistry.
