Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2018

  • A two-way player that appeared at the plate in 48 games, including 45 starts primarily in left field, and also made seven pitching appearances, including a pair of starts.
  • Batted .304 with three home runs and 24 RBI in final season at Austin Peay.
  • Enjoyed OVC play with a .324 batting average, three home runs and 19 RBI.
  • Closed collegiate career by reaching base safely in 27 consecutive games, a streak starting April 7 at Belmont.
  • Finished year with a five-game hit streak, going 8-for-18 (.444) to help push season average back above .300.
  • In season's final month led Govs with .373 batting average over 21 games with three home runs and 16 RBI. Also led Govs with 11 multi-hit games and had four multi-RBI outings in that season-ending stretch.
  • Enjoyed longest hit streak of his career in the final month, batting .394 (13-for-33) with two home runs and 10 RBI during an eight-game streak, April 29-May 12.
  • Had two streaks of three consecutive two-hit games. First was during the Murray State series, March 16-18, and second came two months later against SIUE and Lipscomb, May 5-8.
  • Went 5-for-11 (.455) during the SIUE series, May 4-6, finishing set with a 2-for-4, two RBI outing in Game 2 followed by 2-for-4, three RBI effort in the finale which included a home run.
  • Notched season's first three-hit outing in UT Martin series finale, April 29, going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI.
  • Hit season's first home run at Morehead State, April 21, as part of 2-for-5, three RBI outing.
  • Had a hit and RBI in each game of the Kansas State series, March 20-21
  • Posted two hits in each game of the Murray State series, March 16-18, finishing set 6-for-9 (.667) with three walks and three doubles.
  • Two starts as a pitcher came in midweek outings at Ole Miss, April 6, and at Kansas State, March 20.
  • Picked up save against Illinois in season's first pitching appearance, holding Fighting Illini scoreless while striking out two in an inning of relief.

As a junior transfer in 2017

  • Began season as Govs starting shortstop and played in 48 games, starting 41 contests.
  • Opened season with auspicious 3-for-5 outing against Youngstown State, Feb. 17, which saw him hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning.
  • Also hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning against Southern Illinois, Feb. 22.
  • Second three-hit outing came in Game 2 of Mercer series, March 4, finishing game 3-for-5 with a RBI and two runs scored.
  • Enjoyed flurry of activity at end of April, piecing together a five-game hit streak, April 21-29. In month’s final 11 games he batted .268 (11-for-41).
  • That streak included an impressive 4-for-6 effort against Western Kentucky, April 25, including his season’s only two doubles.
  • Also supplied a game-winning RBI single in UT Martin series finale, April 29, to cap season’s longest hit streak.

As a sophomore in 2016

  • Played in 63 games at shortstop for the Senators in head coach Dave Shelton.
  • Posted a .304 batting average with 15 doubles, five triples and six home runs (.493 slugging percentage) while also driving in 44 runs.
  • Had six three-hit games during sophomore season, including back-to-back three hit affairs against Volunteer State, March 25 and 26, and again against Chattanooga State and King College on April 16 and 18, respectively.
  • Drove in four RBI as part of 3-for-6 outing against Jackson State, May 11, which included a home run.
  • Ended career holding Walters State career record in runs scored (162).

As a redshirt freshman in 2015

  • Played 66 games at shortstop and helped Waters State reach the NJCAA National Championship, where it played in the next to last contest in the championship.
  • Was hit by a pitch 20 times to lead NJCAA Division I ranks and was ranked seventh nationally with 79 runs scored.
  • Finished campaign with .311 batting average, 11 doubles and 29 RBI.
  • Opened NJCAA National Tournament with 3-for-6, two RBI performance against Delgado, May 23. Finished tournament with six hits and scored eight times.
  • Had 4-for-4 outing against Volunteer State, March 21, that wrapped a 10-game hit streak that saw him post 17 hits (.515 batting average), 16 runs and RBI.

As a freshman redshirt in 2014

  • Did not play in first season at Walters State.
