Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a graduate student in 2021:

• Logged a career-high 1,007 minutes across 14 appearances and a dozen starts.
• Scored her first goal since 2017 in the 33rd minute of the Govs’ 3-0 win at Alabama A&M, Sept. 16.
• Played a season-high 102 minutes in a 1-1 draw with North Dakota, Sept. 23.
• Recorded her first assist since 2018 on a 39th-minute goal by Haley Patterson in a 3-0 win against Eastern Illinois, Oct. 21.
• Finished her Austin Peay career with 76 games played, which is tied for the third-most in program history.

As a senior in 2020:

• Started all ten matches for the Governors during her senior campaign.
• Fired a career-best seven shots and four shots on goal.
• Played a season-high 102 minutes in the finale at Morehead State, April 2 – her first match with 100-plus minutes played since she played 110 minutes against UT Martin (Oct. 8, 2017) as a freshman.
• Will take advantage of an extra year of eligibility provided by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a junior in 2019:

• Made a pair of starts in 17 appearances during her junior season.
• Played a season-high 75 minutes in a 1-1 double-overtime draw against Eastern Illinois, Oct. 25.

As a sophomore in 2018:

• Appeared in all 17 matches for the Govs, while getting the starting nod three times.
• Dished out an assist in the 2-0 win over Evansville, Aug. 19.
• Took seven shots in her sophomore season, while putting three of them on goal.

As a freshman in 2017:

• Played in all 18 matches with nine starts in the midfield.
• Scored twice on just three shots on goal during her freshman campaign.
• Found the back of the net for her first collegiate goal on the road at LSU, Sept. 3.

Prior to Austin Peay
Enjoyed prestigious four-year career at Clarksville High School under head coach Jeff Jordan… the Wildcats won four district and regional titles in Roth's tenure, resulting in three state tournament appearances and hoisting the state trophy on two occasions… nationally, Clarksville was ranked as the country's third-best high school team in 2014 and 16th in 2016… tallied 67 goals and 78 assists in her prep career, leading to many accolades – a three-time All-Tournament selection, All-District pick as a senior and four All-Area first team nods… member of the All-State team, All-State Middle Tennessee team and All-State Sports Writers team in her final year…  played for Clarksville Soccer Club-CSC17 under head coach Beth Acreman… also was a member of the National Honors Society at CHS, and earned an Academic Excellence Award.

Personal
Daughter of Bill and Denise Roth... her father, Bill, played collegiate football at MacMurray College in 1993... has two siblings, Georgie and Ella... born August 10... graduated from Austin Peay in May of 2021 with a degree in Psychological Science and is now pursuing a Master's of Science in Management.
