Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2018:

  • Saw action in all 32 matches (115 sets) and led the Govs with 99 blocks (0.86 per set) while adding 221 kills (1.92 per set), both career bests.
  • Finished career ranked as one of Austin Peay’s Top 10 blockers, ranking sixth all-time with 292 career blocks.
  • Enjoyed a second run of three straight matches with 10 or more kills in November, closing the regular season with 10 kills (no errors) at SIUE, Nov. 9, and 12 kills at Eastern Illinois, Nov. 10. Then began OVC Tournament with 11 kills against Tennessee State.
  • Tied her career high with seven blocks at Belmont, Oct. 12, and followed that with six blocks and nine kills at Tennessee State.
  • Reeled off three consecutive matches with 10 or more kills to start September, recording 10 kills each against Stetson, Troy and Northern Kentucky. Averaged 2.5 kills per set and a .387 attack percentage.
  • Middle Tennessee tournament “MVP” thanks to those 10-kill outings against Stetson and Troy while also going errorless en route to seven kills against the hosts.

As a junior in 2017:

  • Seen action in 34 of 36 matches (31 starts) this season and has posted career season bests in kills (204), blocks (93) and digs (61).
  • Led Govs with 11 blocks (0.92 per set) during OVC tournament while also recording 23 kills at a .373 attack percentage.
  • Posted a 12-kill, four-block performance in championship against Murray State that was her best offensive outing since September.
  • Notched fourth six-block effort in OVC semifinals against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 17, adding four kills on eight swings (.500 attack percentage).
  • Enjoyed Jacksonville tournament where she posted season bests in blocks (6 vs. Presbyterian) and kills (15 vs. Jacksonville), finishing three-match stay with 29 kills (2.90 per set), a .349 attack percentage and 10 blocks (1.0 per set).
  • Enjoyed nine-match streak with two or more blocks per match, Oct. 15-Nov. 8, finishing with 29 blocks (0.93 per set) and 51 kills (1.65 per set).

As a sophomore in 2016:

  • Saw action in 27 matches (86 sets) before an injury shortened her season.
  • Rattled off four consecutive double-digit kill performances, Oct. 19-25, including a season-best 15 kills at Belmont, Oct. 21. She finished that stretch with 47 kills (2.94 per set) and a .364 attack percentage.
  • Led Govs at East Tennessee tournament with 24 kills (2.67 per set) and a .388 attack percentage, including a 12-kill performance against USC-Upstate, August 27.
  • Had back-to-back double-digit kill outings during Evansville tournament, posting 11 kills and a .500 attack percentage against host Evansville before notching 10 kills against Kent State.
  • Had five or more blocks four times during the season, beginning with a season-best six blocks against Elon, Sept. 17. Had five blocks in contests against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 15), at Middle Tennessee (Oct. 19) and at UT Martin (Oct. 28).

As a freshman in 2015:

  • Appeared in 26 matches (70 sets) and started 16 contests.
  • Finished rookie campaign with 115 kills (1.64 per set) and 45 blocks (0.64 per set).
  • Began season in starting lineup and started nine of season’s first 12 matches.
  • Season’s best outing came at Chattanooga Invitational with a 13-kills, seven block performance against Gardner-Webb, Sept. 11.
  • Finished Chattanooga Invitational with 28 kills (2.55 per set), a .356 attack percentage and 11 blocks (1.00 per set).
  • Notched season’s second seven-block performance against SIUE, Oct. 9, while posting 10 kills and a .474 attack percentage.
  • Wrapped season with 11-kill performance against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 14.

Career Recap: Memorial HS
Recorded 250 kills and 71 blocks as a senior after junior campaign that saw her record 165 blocks and 232 kills... was named to the National Christian School Athletic Association’s Super Regional Team...was a member of a 16-U team that finished second and a 17-U squad that posted a fifth-place finish at the Junior Olympics.

The daughter of Kelly and Michael Taff... born June 17... has three siblings: Carson, Madison and Jackson.
