As a sophomore in 2019-20: Started first two contests against Oakland City and Western Kentucky… earned start in place of injured Abaev against McKendree…missed the last three games of non-conference and the beginning of conference play due to injury… in first extended run since injury, notched six points in six minutes at Southeast Missouri… hit all four shot attempts in nine-point outing at SIUE… grabbed three offensive rebounds in seven minutes at EIU… hit 14-of-17 shots over season’s final eight games, including 4-for-5 effort against Morehead State, in a career-high 18 minutes.
As a freshman in 2018-19: Injury robbed promising big man of much of his first season... made his APSU debut with 10 points in 17 minutes against Oakland City... did not make Alabama trip with lower-body injury... returned with 11 minutes against Calvary but reaggravated injury and missed the last 22 games.
Prior to Austin Peay: Brazilian big man spent last season at Calusa (Miami) Prep… In 2016, was one of 40 players from Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Mexico invited to take part in Nike's Americas Team Camp in Mexico City… played for Brazil in both the 2014 South American U15 Championships and the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championships, playing 27 minutes, scoring 11 points and grabbing five rebounds against Team USA.
Personal: Son of Gustavo Cesar Silveira… has one brother, Diego... majoring in biology.
