Biography
As a sophomore in 2019-20: Opened sophomore campaign with then career-best 13-point outing against Oakland City… repeated that effort with another 13-point night at Western Kentucky… smallest player on the floor pulled down career-high seven rebounds at Tulsa… recorded 100th career assist during the South Carolina State game… scored 11 points at Arkansas… career-best 14 points to go with four steals at West Virginia… equaled career high with nine assists against McKendree, with seven coming in the first half and five via Terry Taylor buckets… 12 points, five boards and three steals in a solid outing against unbeaten Duquesne, but late injury knocked him out for the Alabama State contest… averaged 10.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals, hitting 41.7 percent (15-for-36) from the floor from Dec. 2-Dec. 22 (five games)… opened OVC play with a 3.0-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio through the first two weekends… 12 points, four steals and four assists to key a second-half comeback against Eastern Illinois… scored 11 points, hitting a trio of threes to help keep the Govs in it at Belmont… handed out five first-half assists at SIUE and had six two games later against Morehead State in the home finale… reached double figures for the 10th time in 2019-20 in the regular-season finale at Murray State.
As a freshman in 2018-19: First APSU freshman to start at point guard since Zach Glotta (2015); handed out four assists in his debut vs. Oakland City... missed six games with an upper-body injury suffered against USF... returned to play 25 minutes against Purdue Fort Wayne... equaled his then-career high with five assists at Arkansas and added seven points... broke out with nine assists for the Govs in the OVC opener against Eastern Kentucky... career-high 10 points to go with six assists in season-high 28 minutes against Eastern Illinois... five points, five assists and a career-high six rebounds in season’s final home contest against UT Martin... one of season’s finest performances came at Eastern Kentucky; in addition to eight points and a pair of threes, nearly doubled season’s steal total with five thefts (had six entering the contest)... persistent foul trouble at Murray State limited him to just seven minutes in third career start.
Prior to Austin Peay: Aided a turnaround at Cardinal O’Hara as a senior, taking a team that was winless the previous season to the Philadelphia Catholic League quarterfinals in their first qualification in six seasons… was 1,000-point scorer at Delaware Valley Charter in his first three seasons, following head coach Jason Harrigan to Cardinal O'Hara when Del-Val closed its doors… served as team captain at Del-Val and led a team to both a city championship and public league championship, netting first-team all-league honors in the process.
