Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a junior in 2021:

• Played in seven matches and made four starts while logging a career-high 327 minutes.
• Came off the bench and played a career-high 65 minutes against Kansas State, Aug. 27.
• Made her first collegiate start against Miami (OH), Aug. 29.
• Fired her first-career shot on goal in the Govs’ 2-1 win at Chattanooga, Sept. 3.

As a sophomore in 2020:

• Appeared off the bench in two matches during her sophomore season.
• Played a season-high 15 minutes in the regular-season finale at Morehead State, April 2.

As a freshman in 2019:

• Made two appearances in her freshman campaign.
• Played 19 minutes in her Austin Peay debut against UT Martin, Sept. 29, and six minutes on the road at Jacksonville State, Oct. 11.

Prior to Austin Peay
Coming from a high school that does not offer athletics, Espinoza has honed her craft exclusively at the club level... played her club ball in the ECNL... helped to lead her club team, D'Feeter Soccer Club, to a very successful season in the Texas Conference.

Daughter of Roland and Marcela Espinoza... has four siblings, Mercedes, Annalise, Nicholas, and Sebastian... born October 27... a Psychological Science major.
