As a senior in 2021:
- Played in 34 sets across 14 matches.
- Finished the season with 31 kills (0.91 per set) and 12 blocks (0.35 per set).
- Recorded a season-high four blocks against St. John’s (Sept. 17).
- Had a season-best six kills against SIUE (Oct. 2), adding three digs and a block on the defensive end.
As a junior in 2020-21:
- Played in 40 sets and saw action in all 14 matches, starting six matches.
- Finished with 38 kills (0.95 per set) and 21 blocks (0.53 per set).
- Had back-to-back five-kill matches against Murray State, March 8, and at Southeast Missouri, March 14.
- Enjoyed best match of the season at Eastern Illinois, March 1, with three kills, two service aces and a season-best five blocks, accounting for eight points.
As a sophomore in 2019:
- In first season at Austin Peay, played in 28 matches (92 sets).
- Recorded 90 kills and 55 blocks.
- Recorded 27 kills, a .397 attack percentage and 15 blocks over season’s final four matches, Nov. 8-21.
- Had impressive performance at Murray State, Nov. 13, setting career highs in kills (11) and blocks (8) and finishing with an errorless attacking day (.550 attack percentage).
- Had a five-block outing against UT Martin, Oct. 5 and followed that with seven kills against Murray State, Oct. 9, which both were season bests at the time.
- Recorded two service aces at Eastern Illinois, Sept. 28.
Career Recap: VCU
As a freshman in 2018:
- Played in five matches (six sets) and had a kill and a block.
- Recorded a kill and a block against No. 14 Pittsburgh, Sept. 1.
Career Recap: Walled Lake Central HS
- Named to all-conference and all-county team as a senior and was a two-year team captain for head coach Sarah Schmidt
- Helped lead Walled Lake Central to district championships in 2017 and 2018
- Also spearheaded runs to the KLAA Conference title in 2017 and a Lakes Conference tournament crown in 2018
- Was a member of the Legacy Volleyball Elite program, which placed ninth at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals in 2017.

- Aysha Allanah Sylvia Hood is the daughter of Dr. Aretha and Roger Hood.
- Born Feb. 12.
- Has an older brother, Roger, who played basketball at Kalamazoo College.
- Majoring in Applied Exercise Science.
