2021

• Governors’ Opening Day starter at shortstop where he made seven starts in 15 games played.
• Posted .217 batting average with two doubles and five walks.
• Started as the designated hitter at UT Martin (April 17), his first start since March 6, and went 1-for-4 with a sac hit.
• Entered Southeast Missouri series finale (March 20) as a pinch runner, stole two bases, and scored a run as part of Govs come-from-behind, extra-inning victory.
• Came off bench to provide two RBI singles in Govs game-tying seven-run seventh inning in Game 2 at Northwestern St. (March 5).

2020

• Played in all 22 games, batting .380 with nine doubles, 15 RBI and 23 stolen bases at Motlow State Community College.
• Finished season with three consecutive multi-hit games at Chattanooga State, March 7-8, going 8-for-12 with 4 doubles and 4 RBI.
• Went 4-for-5 with three doubles and a RBI in Game 2 of doubleheader at Cumberland University, Feb. 18.

2019

• Played in all 44 games and batted .228 with three doubles and 14 RBI in first season at Motlow State.
• Went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI in Game 2 of doubleheader at Dyersburg State, April 1.

Prep Career

• Played shortstop for head coach Phillip Rogers at Marietta High School.

Personal

• Xavier Torres de la Rosa is the son of Aristides Torres and Nancy de la Rosa.
• Birthday is Feb. 23.
• Has two siblings: Leonel and Leovelly Pierrot.
