Biography

As a junior in 2021-22: Appeared in 24 games, making 13 starts for the Govs ... averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest ... shot 36.4 percent from the field, 29.4 percent from behind the three-point line and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line ... tallied three double-digit scoring performances and one game as team's leading rebounder ... was a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the three-point line against Milligan ... registered then-career-high six rebounds at North Florida ... earned first start of the season, recording 11 points and a career-high seven rebounds at UT Martin ... scored 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting from the field at Eastern Illinois. 

As a sophomore in 2020-21: Started all three games for the Govs at the #BeachBubble Gulf Coast Showcase… first reserve role of 2020-21 saw him drop 12 points against Carver… ed the Govs in scoring for the first time in his career with 17 points against Eastern Kentucky, including 8-of-9 from the free-throw line…rewarded for his EKU outing with a start at Eastern Illinois, his first since the Florida trip… handed out a career-best five assists against Jacksonville State… tallied 13 points and a career-high six boards at SIU Edwardsville… corralled a career-high five steals in the Southeast Missouri rematch… nailed a career-high four three-pointers in the regular season finale at Jacksonville State, reaching double figures for the first time since Feb. 1… scored six points and grabbed six boards in 2021 finale against Eastern Kentucky at the OVC Men’s Basketball Championships… hit 44.7 percent (17-for-38) from deep from since Jan. 30 (11 games).

As a freshman in 2019-20: By season's end, was a valuable two-way player with a bright future in Clarksville... filled the box score with five points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals against South Carolina State… missed the Arkansas and North Florida games for precautionary reasons… made first career start against Alabama State and responded with 29 high-quality minutes… Georgia native played 18 minutes as a reserve against the Bulldogs… hit a trio of threes against UT Martin… season-high three steals as part of lockdown defensive effort at Jacksonville State… hit all three of his three-point attempts at Southeast Missouri… reached double figures for the first time as a Gov with 10 points at UT Martin… scored all of his career-high 11 points in the second half against SIUE… blocked two shots at Tennessee State…nailed a trio of threes en route to 11 points against Eastern Kentucky… started the regular season finale at Murray State and both games in the OVC Tournament… in just his third career start, equaled career-high with 11 points in OVC Tournament quarterfinal round against EIU… after starting his career 4-for-25 from deep, has hit 23 of his last 42 attempts from beyond the arc over the season’s final 20 games.

Prior to Austin Peay: Class AAA state champion for Morgan County (Georgia) High School, his second as a prep and fourth straight appearance in the state championship game… a stalwart in the storied program, was Co-Region 8-AAA Player of the Year along with teammate Tyrin Lawrence after leading Morgan County to a 30-2 record and No. 3 ranking in the state of Georgia… named first-team All-State by HoopSeen.com each of his last two seasons at Morgan County and earned a second-team nod as a sophomore, and was an all-state performer according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a senior as well, paired with a second-team honor as a junior from the AJC… HoopSeen.com also ranked him as the No. 25 player in the state of Georgia heading into his senior season… a proven winner at all levels; in addition to his prep prowess, played for the storied Atlanta Celtics AAU program, which has produced countless collegiate and NBA players including Jarnell Stokes, Dwight Howard and Josh Smith.

Personal: Son of Anthony and Allison Woodard… one sister, Autumn… born Nov. 29... majoring in management.
