Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a graduate student in 2021:

  • Started all 15 matches she played and tallied 1,041 minutes on the field.
  • Scored the game-winning goal in the 20th minute of the Govs’ 2-1 win at Chattanooga, Sept. 3.
  • Matched her career-high with 110 minutes played and found the back of the net for the second-straight game when she scored in the 13th minute of a 1-1 draw with Evansville, Sept. 9.
  • Set the Austin Peay record for games played (78) and matched the record for games started (75) in the season finale at Murray State, Oct. 24.
  • Finished her career ranked fifth in program history with 17 career goals, she also ranked fifth in game-winning goals (6), eighth in assists (8), sixth in points (42), third in shots (169), and fourth in shots on goal (71).

As a senior in 2020:

  • Started all ten games in the midfield and has now started in 45-consecutive matches dating back to the beginning of her sophomore season in 2018.
  • Dished out the first of her season’s two assists in the 80th minute of the Govs’ 4-3 double-overtime win against Jacksonville State, March 9.
  • Scored her season’s first goal in the 12th minute of the Govs’ 2-1 win against Eastern Kentucky, March 19.
  • Scored a season-high three points with a 23rd-minute goal and a 24th-minute assist on the road at Morehead State, April 2.
  • Will take advantage of an extra year of eligibility provided by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic and enters her fifth season ranked sixth in goals (15), seventh in points (38), and eighth in assists (8) in Austin Peay history.

As a junior in 2019:

  • Started all 18 games for the Govs in her junior campaign.
  • Scored a team-high two game-winning goals on the season, with the first coming against Evansville, Sept. 15, and the second coming on the road at Eastern Kentucky, Oct. 4.
  • Found the back of the net once and collected a pair of assists to match her career high with four points in the Govs 3-0 win against Morehead State, Oct. 18.
  • Led the Governors in points (11) and assists (5), and finished tied for the team lead in goals (3).

As a sophomore in 2018:

  • Started all 17 matches for the Govs, leading the team with seven goals.
  • Scored a goal each against Belmont, Sept. 14, and Tennessee Tech, Sept. 16, to earn OVC Offensive Player of the Week honors, Sept. 18.
  • Scored a brace against Alabama A&M, Aug. 24, and Jacksonville State, Sept. 28.
  • Provided the  game-winning goals at Evansville, Aug. 19, and Tennessee Tech, Sept. 16.

As a freshman in 2017:

  • Played in all 18 matches for Austin Peay in her freshman year, while making 15 starts in the midfield.
  • Scored a trio of goals, including one game-winner, and also posted an assist in her freshman campaign.
  • Scored her first collegiate goal against Middle Tennessee, Aug. 20, in just her second appearance for the Govs.
  • Posted a goal against Little Rock, Sept. 10, in non-conference play, before scoring her only conference goal against Belmont, Sept. 17.

Prior to Austin Peay
A multi-sport athlete who also ran track/cross country and played basketball along with soccer… attended Oakridge Secondary School and played for Salt Fleet where she was on the regional team and received an opportunity to play for Ontario Soccer Association… played in the Ontario Youth Soccer League from 2012-17, winning the U16 Indoor Ontario Cup and was a finalist in the 2015 and 2016 Outdoor Cup… also a member of the team who finished third at the Disney Showcase Tournament, and fourth at the U18 Soccer Nationals.

Daughter of Rob and Wendy Larose... has two siblings, Kaylee and Andrew... born June 30... a Broadcast Media major with a Health minor.
