Media Accommodations as Austin Peay Baseball
Due to NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference and CDC COVID-19 policies, Austin Peay Athletics Communications Office has changed the way we process media credentials this season. This year we ask that media wishing to attend baseball games at Raymond C. Hand Park fill out an online form to request a credential. As part of that form, our current media polices will be outlined for your information. I have copied those policies below and you are required to be familiar with them, exceptions to these policies will not be permitted.
Please note we will not have media credentials that cover the entire season. Instead, you will need to request credentials on a game-by-game basis and to make your request at least 24 hours prior to first pitch of the game you wish to attend. If you do not fill out the designated form, you will not be granted access to the Raymond C. Hand Park.
Due to the limited space in the press box at Raymond C. Hand Park, only Austin Peay operations staff and radio broadcast teams will be provided room inside the press box. Other members of the media will be provided complimentary seating in the main seating area if they wish to attend games. In addition, no printed copies of game notes nor any in-game copies of stats will be made available, we request you bring your own copies of any materials you need and a laptop or tablet to access live statistics during the game.
No interviews are permitted on the field, which is restricted to players, coaches, athletic trainers and umpires involved in the game. Austin Peay will arrange a postgame Zoom Press Conference with head coach Travis Janssen and a selected player when a member of the media requests a press conference PRIOR to the game’s start.
Credentialing
- Members of the media must complete the online APSU Athletic Communications credential form at least 24 hours in advance of each game. Season credentials will not be provided, only single-game credentials.

- Any individual requesting a credential for a news organization not listed on APSU's Local Media List must submit a web address showing a recent example of their work for that organization.
- Non-broadcast media members will be provided a complimentary ticket to sit in the primary seating area but no press box space or working space will be provided.
