Prep Career

• Was a pitcher for head coach Jim Cahill at North Forsyth High School.
• A First Team All-Region 6-7A selection as a senior and was selected to play in the Georgia Senior All-State Game.
• Named Georgia Class 7A All-State by the Georgia Dugout Club.
• Ranked as the 44th right-handed pitcher in Georgia and in the top 500 nationally by Perfect Game.
• Named Perfect Game's most valuable pitcher for the 2021 Elite Southeast Championship where he compiled a 3-0 record in 12 appearances, with a 1.91 ERA with 30 strikeouts. 

Personal

• Baylor Christian Homesley is the son of Joby and Lori Homesley.
• Birthday is Oct. 15.
• Has two siblings: Braden and MaryGrace.
• His father, Joby, was a pitcher at Austin Peay (1990-94) and member of the Govs' 1994 OVC Championship team.
• His great-grandfather, Dewey Quinn, is a member of the Clemson Athletics Hall of Fame after playing football, men’s basketball, and baseball for the Tigers (1943-46).
