  • Went six scoreless innings while striking out a career-high nine batters against Tennessee Tech, March 17. Had to work out of a bases-loaded jam in the first but got stronger as the outing went along, striking out four of the final five batters he faced
  • Struck out a then-career high seven batters in season’s first start against Bradley, Feb. 20.
  • Season debut came in relief as third pitcher out of the bullpen against Kentucky in the season-opener. Struck out one of the two batters he faced to end the seventh inning.

  • Began season as Govs’ No. 3 weekend starter and made seven weekend starts.
  • Opened with five scoreless innings and worked into the sixth inning at nationally-ranked Clemson, May 13, scattering three hits and two walks to the 18 batters he faced. Left game for precautionary reasons after allowing a leadoff single in the sixth, which turned into only run that would score against him.
  • Began UT Martin finale, April 29, by retiring first 10 batters he faced en route to 6.1 scoreless frames and season's second victory.
  • Made second straight Game 3 start against Eastern Kentucky (4/15) and again went six innings. However, was left with the loss as defense betrayed him, committing four errors in his time on the mound, resulting in three unearned runs.
  • Last man out of the bullpen at Murray State, April 11, inheriting a runner on base in the ninth. Induced three groundouts to end the game and notch season's second save.
  • Made first Game 3 start in more than a month at Belmont, April 8, and went 6.2 innings, but came out on short end of a pitcher's duel.
  • Notched first save with three innings of scoreless relief in Govs series finale win against Murray State (3/18). Needed 30 pitches against the 10 batters he faced.
